Training on Microsoft Solutions

At Newera Solutions we embrace Microsoft Software since we understand that it is has a wide spread and it is easily available. It also forms the core infrastructure on which corporate business solutions can be built. We have therefore invested in our skills and training to be able to build such solutions for our clients as well as to deliver training in these areas. Our staff, together with our partners Bi-Lingual and in collaboration with Microsoft have organised high profile training for a number of Microsoft solutions. The training we prefer to offer is more focused on what the practitioner would require in handling a project rather than on the core technical aspects of the product.

Some examples of training we provided were a course on implementing Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 (MOSS 2007). This course focused on the business aspects of implementing Sharepoint as well as the business benefits an organisation can obtain by implementing it. The course consisted of a mapping of the business benefits on the product as well as practical sessions on setting up and parameterising MOSS 2007 based on a number of real life scenarios.

We also provided technical training on MsSQL Server 2005/2008, SSIS, SSRS and related technologies. The training focus was how these technologies can be configured and used to set up and support business intelligence solutions. The focus of the training was on the technical setup options that were based on real life business scenarios. The objective was to have participants grasp the business benefits of their technical input thus enabling them to better appreciate the role of their technical work to the business process and even better enable them to communicate with business people.
